Frequently Asked Questions
QUESTION: Can I choose more than one location for my formal wedding photography for example a Park then to the Beach?
ANSWER: We are very happy to try two and even three locations this will depend on time constraints with what time you allow in between the ceremony and the reception.
QUESTION: Why do you request a deposit to confirm our wedding photography and can we make a tentative booking?
ANSWER: As we receive many enquires daily for our availability to photograph weddings we schedule our weddings well in advance allowing us to provide confirmation of availability to further prospective clients. We can make a tentative booking for 2 days but it will only be confirmed once the deposit has been paid. It also gives you the confidence that you have a photographer booked and confirmed for your wedding day.
QUESTION: When will I have to pay the balance of moneys owed for my wedding day photography?
ANSWER: We are happy for you to pay the balance of money owed a few days prior to your wedding day by cash, credit card or direct bank deposit.
QUESTION: How do you accept Payment?
ANSWER: We are able to accept direct bank deposit or phone payment with Visa, Master Card. If you prefer we are located in Kalamunda and always happy for you to visit and pay in person.
QUESTION: The DVD you supply with the images from our wedding day will they be supplied as high resolution image files?
ANSWER: The image files supplied on DVD will contain two image folders, one folder in FULL HIGH RESOLUTION that can be used to acquire high quality prints & enlargements and a secondary folder that contains a lower resolution image file used for a slide show presentation on your computer. All our packages include a high resolution DVD of the digital images from your wedding day for personal use to print for yourself, family and friends.
QUESTION: Do you provide post image processing – that is enhancing the photographs prior to giving clients the finished high resolution DVD?
ANSWER: We do provide some corrections and some enhancing. We will turn some images into Black & White, Sepia along with some minor enhancements in Photoshop on a limited number of images. Sometimes photographers to try and justify high prices will try and blind you with science with a claim that all images are enhanced when they refer to enhancements this may be little more than correcting exposure or changing contrast. If the photographs are well taken by an experienced photographer they will require little correction. Some photographers however will provide extensive post processing in Photoshop made to a limited number of photographs as this is time consuming and costly but does produce some good results.
QUESTION: The prints and enlargements you supply with some of your packages – can these be excluded from our package to allow us to save some money?
ANSWER: The prints supplied with our packages are a bonus with no money value attached they give you better value on what already is the best value photography in Perth.
